- Assessment of Learning (InTask Standard # 6):
- Include at least 2 digital artifacts that demonstrate what you or your students (peers) have created as a result of your lesson
- Describe your students' level of success in achieving the standards and objectives for your lesson based on your assessment
- Describe the level of success you had in teaching the lesson
- How do your individual reflections support this?
- How do the comments from your classmates support this?
For the first part of my 3-part lesson, students were given formative assessments. They filled out the KWL chart so that I could see what they knew and what they wanted to know. I am using this to form both the part 1 of my lesson and part 2 of my lesson. The final summative assessment is the writing and publishing of an autobiography.
This part of my lesson is building up to the actual objective, and so I should possibly alter the objectives for each part of my lesson but keep the same standard for all three of them.
I feel that this lesson was successful, although I had a couple bumps (which are easy to fix for the future) and learned that having a lesson plan does not mean the lesson will go as planned. My "students" agreed that I needed to make sure I knew how to use the technology and how to solve any issues with the programs I use. They felt that my lesson was fun and loved being read too.
